A junior, Enya Lu serves as the Executive Producer for the Harker Podcast Network. Aside from HPN, she actively competes in DECA and serves on the Harker DECA and Academic Decathlon teams. She also interns for Backyard Media, a podcast advertising company. During the summer, she taught writing and business at Breakthrough Silicon Valley to local 8th graders. Enya is painfully aware of her overinvestment in k-pop, but she is still saving up for the day kpop acts stop ignoring the bay area.
Evan is a sophomore serving as the Public Relations Manager for the Harker Podcast Network. In addition to HPN, Evan is also involved in playing percussion in the school orchestra, running on the cross country team, and both competing and serving as a mentor in DECA. Outside of school, he enjoys watching baseball, writing, singing in both choir and a cappella groups, playing the piano, reading about business and economics.
Larissa, HPN's Production Assistant, is an assiduous sophomore at The Harker School with a passion for business. On campus, she can be frequently spotted leading various business clubs including Harker DECA and Harker Business Podcast and playing varsity golf. She enjoys the social media marketing aspect of business, and endorses clubs through this powerful platform. Currently, she is interested in retail, specifically fashion, and art industries. Off campus, she participates in competitive ballroom dancing.
Arushi, a sophomore, is serving as Production Manager for Harker Podcast Network. Along with HPN, she currently writes for the Winged Post and Harker Aquila, while competing with Harker DECA. She interns with local councilmen, and serves on the board of two Bay Area agencies. This past summer, she taught 5th graders to play guitar. She is currently interested in economics, business, and law. Apart fromschool, Arushi enjoys playing the guitar, singing, and reading.
Michael Acheatel, the advisor to HPN, teaches in the Business and Entrepreneurship Department at Harker. In addition to advising the Harker Podcast Network, he advises the Harker Incubator, the Harker DECA chapter, CareerConnect, TEDx, and BEcon. His background is in startup business consulting, having helped over 150 startups launch and/or raise capital. Over the summer, he launched the Harker Incubator where he helped 2 student entrepreneurs grow their businesses. He also spent time travelling with his wife and new baby who was born in May 2017.
